tohkatz68: Beautiful top and a great way to use leftover fabric.

I was eyeing this pattern to possibly use up some of my Christmas fabric....yours turned out great!

Cattitude, love the bright colors in your quilt:)

All in again this year! Tracking all my finishes and yardage used. The downside is that I purchased some blenders and neutrals right before Christmas tucking them away. I found them so the yardage used so far isn't greaert than the pre-Christmas buys. Also clearing out small pieces and putting into scrap system. Being productive through this "down time" and feeling good about it.

Made a mess in my quilting room last night and today. Sorted fabric, bagged fabric and patterns for a virtual quilt retreat in place of my guild spring retreat. I made hard choices about some UFOs and will donate some for others to finish along with orphan blocks. They are cluttering my space and my thinking.

The delight about this "mess" is that I found more 1930's children's prints so I can make more baby quilts. Three more to go by the end of April or first of May. They may be the same pattern but different fabrics just to keep this process simple. Tee-Hee-Hee! Off I go to locate my floor tomorrow followed by a trip to Goodwill on my way to pick up a UFO from my long-armer. Trying to use my "free time" hunkering down at home for a good purpose as many on the QB seem to be doing.

Goodness, I don't know if I ever had a pattern. So here comes my question. Did you use an online pattern and if so can you post the link so I can pass it on to the folks in the other group. I would like to pass on a version that is "tried and true" so to speak. Thanks.

Here is the tutorial I use...it is found on the Bee In My Bonnet blog. It is a great stash buster as well as a leader/ender project.

jmoore, Thank you, I bookmarked the link. This is a different version of the Arkansas Crossroads from what I have made in the past, but I like it. It uses more of those little 2.5" squares. My blocks finished at 12". Here is a close up of some of my blocks being checked by my resident inspector, Scout.

Yes, it does use up a lot of 2 1/2 inch squares...but yours looks great too. I love your color theme. I’ve not thought about using a color theme but I’ll definitely give it some thought for my next one.

With many online shops quilt shops offering deals during this pandemic (and free shipping) I just had to take advantage of a FQ bundle that I liked. Maybe I can think of it as supporting a small business during a difficult time. 🙃
