Leslie, thank you so much for this challenge. I have been meaning to make quilts for AAQI for a long time. But, I hate to admit it, it just keeps getting postponed. Your challenge will help me be committed and get going. Thank you again. :) |

What a coincidence that I found this thread now! I have just finished registering two quilt and waiting on instruction to mail. They will be my first two to AAQI, but hopefully not the last. I enjoyed making them and I love small projects, and what a great cause!

Thanks for adding other names, oksewglad. I just couldn't remember them while I was writing this post. Also, be sure to PM me with the reg. numbers for your recent quilts to AAQI. I'm going to set up a Group Challenge on the AAQI site, and I need the reg. nos. to link the quilts to that Group. Hooray! Good start!! |
Oh yes, Everose! I did dedicate one of my recent quilts to you and your Mom, but it's not pictured on the AAQI site yet. I'll try to let you know when it is.

I was surprised how a great big heart just showed up in the mini, a real surprise at the end! It seems hearts are always finding their ways into my quilts somehow and I suppose it's making a statement of my great love for quilts and flowers. :) |
