............... she passed out from the unbelievable site when she opened the package!

It was all too much to see those itty-bitty logs around in that cabin. Finished size was all of 1-5/8".

OKSGlad ... Amaaaaaaaaaaazing! You really outdid yourself on this one! Totally unbelievable!! Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!!!

No ... I am not working with them yet!
Yes, they are all posted on the corner of my design wall to keep tempting me.

I do have my design pattern drawn up on paper and a stash of fabrics waiting to work with. Though I will not be working on it for a bit. I'm going to need to be focused in order to finish my list of January PhDs, so can't take the FFC any further. So for now, can only dream of all the siggie blocks coming together in their own little quilt.

I know that you have all seen this mighty-mini already, but gosh, I just have to show it to you here!
OKs Micro-Mini Log Cabin is all of 1-5/8"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I just had to put this in red, to make sure you all took note!!
... If I could have done flashing lights, on it, i would have done that too!!! :D

It really is totally beyond belief ... I can't imagine all the fiddly work of holding those fabrics as you work with them. I know I am ever-so-lucky to have this little wonder!

huntannette 01-15-2014 12:18 PM

Is it hand pieced or machine???

oksewglad 01-15-2014 12:52 PM

And you are welcome. huntannette, it's not as hard as you think--but took me over an hour to make the block (on the machine), and then like a fool decided to bind it stitching to the back by hand! QE this is truly one of a kind. I may make blocks this small again, but bind them--no!

alisonquilts 01-15-2014 01:39 PM

I wondered if it was bound!! Cool idea!! And how did you manage to press any seams without burning your fingers?

In awe over here.

Alison
