I finished the piecing part of GBST, now on to the borders. I'm not going to miter them....I think :D
My Gypsy Wife, called Maria, is hanging in the living room for now. She was on my bed but I wanted to really see her so downstairs she came. First I need coffee before cutting the border fabric. Still need to decide which fabric I'm going to use. The one with lots of white or the pink with white dots. |
Anael, I love your GTSB's. I love the substitution of the dresden's. They play very nicely. I can't wait to see it with the borders on. I really love this pattern and think I will definitely be buying it. I can see it done so many different ways. But, I think I would stick with scrappy. I'm still looking for your border choices. I am starting 20 pages back.

Looking forward to seeing GTSB, Anael. Going to be fabulous..
Busy busy here but I miss working on HB....actually, I just miss sewing period so going thru a bit of withdrawals. |
Thanks!!! I will take pictures tomorrow. I started cutting the borders, it's white with tiny pink flowers. The binding will be pink with white dots.

Anael, can't wait to see your finished quilt top. I love the colors your using.

Pulled out some fabric for the stems. Now to cut them and use my bias tape maker. Don't think I will do that today, tomorrow will be a nice day for making them :)

Anael, I love your top! The overall pink in it is so pretty.

Thank you Judith!!

Anael....absolutely gorgeous. Love all the modifications you did with the different blocks use. You did a fabulous job on this. And, love the border fabric. Perfect choice. Will look great with the contrasting binding. I have never used a bias maker for stems though I own a couple of sizes. Have fun... Can't wait to see it finished.
