I hope to keep these going so don't despair. Just hang onto it for another one down the road. Just remember if you want to enter it you can't show it on the board or anywhere online.

I am sure we will do another tablerunner one in a few months again.

thanks. but I'm going to try to re-arrange it just enough to pull my chair out and sit on it, it might be a little uncomfortable, but I want to finish it, it's been unfinished for too long!

What if we've seen a picture online that gave us an ideal as to how we want to use some blocks we have to make up a quilt?

the reason for not allowing quilts that have been shown is to protect each entrant and make it a fair vote.
If an entry had been posted prior to the contest then people might be more apt to vote for it especially if the owner is a friend. So it wouldn't be a fair vote anymore.

The inspiration for your quilt(a pic that you saw online) won't tell anyone who made your quilt. So that won't have any bearing on anything.

I want to do the tote and handbag contest. If I use a block design on my tote bag that someone else designed, I am to give that person the credit for the block design. Is this correct.

Does it matter how big the nine patch blocks are? Do they have to measure 12" or can they be a 6" nine patch? To clarify, then, a snails trail is not a nine patch block correct? It does not contain nine equal parts. Just want to be within the correct category.

a 9 patch to me is just that 9 patches. The size of the patches is not important. A shoofly block or a friendship star is 9 patches. But a snails' trail is not a 9 patch.
