Everyone is welcome to enter a quilt as long as they follow the rules:

2. One clear photo that shows the whole front.
3. One clear photo that shows the whole back.
4. Four clear closeup photos that show the details you want highlighted
from different sections of the front. (four different sections)
if you didn't design it yourself, please give credit to the designer
and tell us the pattern name.
5. if somebody else did the quilting for you, please giver her/him credit as
well.

This is very interesting, does it have to be our own design?

Unless I specified any particular rules-anything goes. The only thing is if you use a pattern by another designer you need to give credit to that person.

I really appreciate having the contests listed out in advance like this. Since I work full-time this gives me enough forewarning so that I can get some things ready. I missed the lap quilt contest just because there aren't enough hours in day.

You're welcome! Patrice has been a great help in advizing me on the best way to do these contests. I really value her experience and advice. She's been great to bounce ideas off of.

I'm getting ready to enter in two categories.....sounds like fun!

the hardest part is not posting pics before the contest begins. I'm working on mine now and so proud of how it's coming out.

Can't wait to see it!! Your name is funny for me. My DDs name is Sara and her DDs name is Rachel. LOL

If you need more themes for after this, you could maybe do a hand piecing or hand quilting theme, or a baby quilt theme. I bet you would get some good entries, but for the hand ones, you'd have to give quite a bit of time. just a random thought through my head

I really want to play..but it is FAIR season..sigh...I can't possibly fit another thing into my schedule..sigh...

If all goes well there will be more upcoming contests.
