1-2-3 Sausage Balls
This is our favorite appetizer. They are fast, easy and always a hit, especially with the guys (we’ve taken them to Super Bowl parties and they disappear). It’s also good for a brunch dish.
• 1 lb. ground sausage
• 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
• 3 cups Bisquick baking mix
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients. Depending upon the moisture in the sausage, you may need to add 1 or 2 T. of water until the mixture holds together. Roll into walnut-sized balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes; flip them over and bake for 5 minutes more. Serve warm.
