Oh do I remember those days, we used to inject the watermelon with vodka, same thing, still had fun.
Last summer I tried watermellon, rum, crushed ice and mellon liquer, mixed in blender, very nice.

if regular ol' watermelon is supposed to be an aphrodesiac, this recipe could be - um - dangerous

Straight vodka is also delicious shaken with lemons - the favourite drink of the skydivers I used to hang with. At the end of the day, we'd slice a few lemons into a 4-gallon glass jar, add some ice cubes maybe some sugar and a 26 of vodka. Wrap jar with towel, pass around the party and shake vigorously until the lemon is pulped up. Then take off the lid and pass around a few more times until the jar is empty. Gosh, the memories!

They also make watermelon rum.
Instead of using coconut rum for pina coladas, try the watermelon.
Use the pina colada mix, mix with the watermelon rum, blend with ice.
SOOOO YUMMY!!!
I think it's a little more refreshing too! :)
