I'm in grad school right now and don't have much time for quilting. I wanted to do something nice for my mom so I decided to try and make macaroons for her. I found a recipe with 3 ingredients, made them and sent them out. She LOVED them, so I thought I'd share the recipe with all of you. BTW, my hubby doesn't like coconut and I had to pack them up quick so that Mom would get at least a dozen!

Peanut butter macaroons

3 cups shredded coconut
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 (14 oz) can condensed milk

Mix all ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes then cool on a wire rack.

They sound good! I'll definitely put those items on my grocery list so I can try them out this weekend!

I'm not a coconut person AT ALL....but never seen a macaroon recipe with peanut butter! Glad they turned out well; you're a more adventurous baker than I am! :)

I love peanut butter, sounds good. Is that condensed milk, sweetened condensed or regular condensed milk?

all condensed milk is sweetened, the non-sweet stuff is evaporated.
