A few years ago Prego came out with a jar of sauce that they called Pasta Bake. It was basically just spaghetti sauce. I loved the way it works so here is the recipe for it.

1 Pound Hamb cooked loose and drained
1 Pound Macaroni-- originally used Ziti but you can use anything you like. I prefer Ziti but just used med shells tonight and it is just as good. any mac works fine
1 -24 oz jar of spaghetti sauce - I prefer Prego with mushrooms
Water - after you dump out the sauce fill the jar with water and add
2-3 c shredded colby cheese or any cheese you like

Optional
Mushrooms / Onions / Green Peppers / Olives or anything you like in pasta - Adding pepperoni would be good or substituting sausage for hamburger would be good too.

Place the [b]uncooked[b/] pasta in an ungreased casserole pan
Add the hamgurger on top and add 1 c cheese or more as you please to the mix.
Pour on the sauce and fill the jar with water and add that too.
Mix thoroughly

Stir after about a half hour to make sure it is all mixed well

Bake in 350 degree oven for about 45 mins to an hour. I just check it til it looks good. Mac should be cooked and cheese melted. Add the rest of the shredded cheese on top and let it melt. Serve!!

This is one of my favorites!! Sooooo good!

Pasta Bake - Sorry didn't think to take the picture til after supper!! It was sooo good!! LOL

Do you cover the casserole while it's baking?

No I just stick it in. I do wait til it is almost done to add the cheese on top so it won't brown too much.

There is only Glen and I most of the time so when I make a casserole especially this one I like to put individual portions in the freezer and then it is handy when we don't want to cook. It is good reheated in the microwave too!
