if you are talking about oil mixture & saltines in a plastic bag, then rest assured it works. I’ve done it several times.

My DD is making her Christmas Mix this weekend!
She melts 2-11oz pkgs of white chocolate chips to cover her Mix:
3 1/2 C Cheerios
3 C Rice Chex
3 C Corn Chex
16 oz M&Ms plain
2 1/2 C salted mixed nuts
2 C small pretzels

She made four batches!

I' ve made chex mix using carmel corn syrup recipe.Was given the recipe when I took a micorwave cooking class a long, long time ago. I add honey nut peanuts to the mix. Can't make it this ykear since we got a new micorwave and the cavilty is too small to hold the paper bag,

I watched the site Apron Strings on YouTube today. The title was #593 Texas Chex Mix, and it looks really good. I saved a picture of the savoury recipe that is put up at the end. She said she will be sharing a sweet version later.
