Chestnut Mushrooms
Last winter I purchased 2 mushroom kits, a Shitake and a Chestnut Mushroom. The Chestnut Mushroom is fruiting! I've never tried these kinds of mushrooms. Has anyone ever cooked with them? Got some recipes?

I harvested my Chestnut mushrooms and sauteed them with butter, olive oil and some seasonings. They were good! There was a lot of anticipation waiting for them to fruit. The whole family was involved. The block may have another flush, fingers crossed. The project wasn't really cost effective, but it was fun.
