Default Cookie recipe in the Dec. Block magazine

The current issue of Block from MSQC has a recipe in for a spice cookie. I made a batch this evening and they are really good. If anyone else has tried it or if you do eventually try it, I'd like your opinion. Very crispy and good spice flavor, it takes cinnamon, clove and ginger. It also called for either a plumped raisin or a walnut half to be placed in the center but I didn't have either so it was omitted.

I am going to try that recipe today. I just received my book yesterday and wish it had come earlier so I could have made some of the patterns. Best quilting book I have subscribed to.

I made some and plan to make more for our family Christmas gathering. They are very good. I usually don't care for the molasses flavor but I like these.

Jenny has been showing us Christmas stuff for the last 6 months or more, so now is the time to: "Make your house fair as you are able. Trim the hearth and set the table." Save the patterns for the 12 days of Christmas = till January 6th. And you have a real head start on next year. Have a Merry and Blessed Christmas.
