Sandpat...you're killing me with this recipe. Oh how I love chocolate!
There are 80 calories in 1 tablespoon of vanilla almond bark...I can't even figure out how many calories 3 lbs. would have.
There should be a law against posting such a tempting recipe...you're under arrest. lol.

PS...Walmart has the plymouth pantry brand of almond bark.

Thank you - no super walmart near me, but I am sure the grocery store will have it. Glad to "see" what I should be looking for. Think I am going to do one peanut and one cashew. I am assuming it would be best to make it the day before the party???????

GRRRRRRRRRRRR!! Went to 3 more stores today and still no Vanilla Almond Bark!!!

We are now going to venture out to Super Wal-Mart - have to drive over 20 miles one way and they better have it!!!

Sandpat, I did find some white chocolate (like the Baker's German stuff - do you think I could use that and add vanilla flavoring? I so want to make these - bought the peanuts and cashews in big containers at Sam's club, so you can imagine the size!!! What is wrong with Mainers?????

Suppose to snow tomorrow and through out weekend, so I guess I better go tonight!....I am so tired - DH said he would treat me to MacDonalds, so at least I don't have to cook.

I'll be that because there is a storm coming, the shelves are being emptied of everything to INCLUDE the almond bark. I'll be everyone bought it up to do baking while waiting out the bad weather. If I knew I could get it to you in time, I'd send it to you.
If you find it....buy extra and toss it in your freezer. That way, you'll always have it. :)

I agree with Terri..its sold out because of the storm..I hope you found some tonight. Micky D's is at least a kinda treat...well, no cooking anyway
