I’ve made a similar recipe of this cheese ball for 40 years. It’s a family favorite!!

Here are a couple of my 'go-to' quick appetizers..

ShoePeg Corn Dip (I don't always put in the jalapenos) - https://thesouthernladycooks.com/201...epeg-corn-dip/ I buy the big Fritos for this dip.

Artichoke Dip - https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/14...artichoke-dip/ You can use Pita Chips, Baguette Bread or just about any type of cracker/chip that you prefer for this dip.

There are many ways to make Tortilla Pinwheels that are always a hit too.

    Good luck!

A friend needed an easy app for a church gettogether recently. I did stuffed celery for her. One batch with cream cheese/bacon bit stuffing; one batch with cream cheese/chopped walnut stuffing. Apparently every piece was gone before she even got any, lol! Quick and easy.

For a quick item, I buy the package of phyllo cups and fill them with a chicken salad, tuna salad or even a thick pudding (my friend's favorite is a banana pudding with a crushed vanilla wafer on top). They are the perfect bite size treat and couldn't be faster and easier!

You just reminded me of one my Mother used to do at Christmas time ...... prunes stuffed with orange cream cheese. Hated the thought then, but now ... I think I just may like it!

Stuffed celery for us meant stuffed with cheez whiz!
The irony ... liked it then, but now ... hate the stuff!
Now, just give me cheddar cheese. The older the better!
(and yes, I hated old cheese as a kid)

I have made this cheese ball several times. I have even cut the recipe in half when I want something for a smaller gathering. It has always impressed and there has rarely been any leftovers. Plus it's just darn cute!!

I have a similar type party on Saturday, so I'm enjoying all the answers too. Think I will bring quiche and stuffed celery to mine.
