    Default Granola on the grill

I have been making granola on the grill all summer all, it's so good!!!

    Granola Recipe
    3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup almonds, walnuts or pecans, chopped
    1 cup pumpkin seeds
    1/2 cup coconut flakes
    3/4 maple syrup
    1/2 coconut oil
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoons cinnamon
1 to ½ cup any dry dried fruit, chop if too big

    1. Preheat grill to 325 degrees. In a large bowl, mix the oats, nuts, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes, maple syrup or honey, oil, salt and cinnamon together. Spread mixture on a rimmed aluminum baking sheet in an even layer and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until golden brown and well toasted.

    2. Transfer granola to a large bowl and add the dried fruit, tossing to combine.

Sounds like a great idea. I usually make a months worth of granola at a time in the oven, but it has been too hat to use the oven.

I suspect the 3/4 maple syrup is 3/4 cup? But what is the measurement on the coconut oil? Is that 1/2 Cup!????

This sounds great! I am going to make some today, but in the oven. Too cold to be outside.

This was so simple...hubby picked up all the ingredients this morning when he went shopping - 10 mins to put it all together. In the oven it went and the house smells awesome. I added a few additional ingredients.
