Recently had awesome coleslaw. Somewhat sweet. If you have a recipe that fits the description, please share.

I just take whole milk add vinegar, and then add sugar to sweeten. You could use sweeten n low instead of sugar. I've done this for yrs.

This is what I use & everyone seems to like it enough to ask for recipe.

Dice an onion and add 1 cup of sugar
    Let set for 30 minutes

    1 cup veg. Oil
    ½ cup cider vinegar
    1/3 cup mayo
    1 tsp. Salt
    ½ tsp. Celery seed
Shake in a jar and pour over 1-2 pkgs cole slaw & onion/sugar.

My recipe is a cross between my Mom's and KFC's:

I use the already chopped up bag of Cole Slaw mix from the store (then one with both purple and green cabbage and carrots)
3/4 toOne cup Miracle Whip light
    1/8 cup Olive oil
    1/8 Apple Cider Vinegar
    1/2 cup Sugar
1/8 to 1/4 cup Pineapple juice
    1/2 chopped up Pineapple tibits
    A dash of Celery Seed

Mix everything but the Cole Slaw mix in a Medium bowl, then add to Cole Slaw mix.
Fold all ingredients together and set in frig for an hour to mingle flavors. I get my husband to taste test
since I don't eat the stuff.

This one is awesome and somewhat sweet. I make it often.

    1 C Miracle Whip
    1 T Vinegar
    1/3 C Sugar
    Finely Minced Onion
Make the sauce ahead of time.
Mix it with cabbage just before serving.

I prefer my mom's- equal parts oil, vinegar sugar but DH likes the creamy style so I buy Marzettis slaw dressing for his.

    Here's my go to recipe:

    Cup of Veganaise Mayo
    1/4 C Apple cider vinegar
1/4 C sugar, (or a little less honey)
    1 T Dijon mustard
    dash of salt
    dash of pepper

Mix and pour over shredded cabbage.

(I like the idea of celery seed and pineapple bits mentioned in the recipes above...nice touch!)

My favorite way to make coleslaw is to use Tas-tee dressing with the cabbage.

Mine is pretty much what all of the above are and everyone who eats mine loves it. I add some Sour Cream (when I have it,) and it gives it a really nice smooth taste.
    Hungry for Cole Slaw now!!
