This actually made my mouth water just reading the recipe. I happened to have the ingredients on hand .... one word of advice...don't substitute the cheese ..... I use Gruyere cheese in quiches and it's worth the extra money.

looks yummy but certainly not 'heart friendly' lol
like how they compared it to a quilt.

It certainly looks yummy.
But, I'm fond of anything that has cellophane wrap on it. Just unwrap and stick it in the oven.................... You can tell that I don't like kitchens. :roll: :roll:

Wonderful recipe...the alternative is the "Croque Madame"
Simply add a fried egg (done through) before the cheese!
