Skillet Cookies
I have this recipe. My Mom always made them and we loved them. They're called Skillet Cookies, and you're right-they have Rice Krispies in them. Skillet Cookies
Ingredients
1stick butter
2beaten eggs
1cup sugar
1cup chopped dates
1cup chopped pecans
1tsp. vanilla
3cups Rice Krispies
Coconut
Directions
1. Melt butter in skillet; add eggs, sugar and dates.
2. Cook over low heat until thickened, about 10minutes. 3. Slowly mash dates while cooking.
4. Turn off heat.
5. Add pecans, vanilla and Rice Krispies.
6. While warm, roll and shape in small balls.
7. Roll in coconut.
8. Place on waxed paper.
9. Keep hands moist while rolling. 10. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container.

Would they have rolled oats instead of Rice Crispies? If so, look at this link http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/...9-e48dc5240c3d
