I love peaches and I was lucky enough to have 4 peach trees at my last house in North Carolina. I miss walking out in my back yard and getting fresh peaches for pies. Your peach pies are making me drool and I would love to take them off your hands.

Aah - peach pie. My very favorite - a little warm with ice cream. Little piece of heaven on earth!

yes, I do have a nifty little gadget, in fact I have 2! They are like giant cookie cutters with raised edges, one for lattice and one for apple pies.

I love peach pie and cobbler. I make peach cobbler often. I use pie crust in my peach cobbler. I bake the crust in crisp strips and then add it to the cooked peach filling. No soggy or doughy taste from the crust. My grandmother made cobblers on top of the stove, never baked. She would break up left over biscuits from breakfast, toast them until crumbly and add them to the pot. She canned many jars of fresh peaches every summer.

Wow! I think you need someone to test a pie to see if it really as dry as you think it is....it would be a tough job,by I'd be up to the challenge.

Your pies look SO good! I won't have any fresh peaches this year for pies or cobbler. Here on the high plains, we almost always have an "Easter spell". A late freeze that kills all hope of having peaches....I did see a few peaches, but the birds have already harvested them. Sigh...back again to canned peaches.
