To make hard candy that tastes like iced tea? My husband tells me I drink to much of it. Maybe I could have something to suck on and that will not adversely affect me.

Walmart sells Iced Tea Candy with real tea in it. For the price, maybe it will wean you off iced tea. Just kidding....
12 bags of 42 pcs. for $26. Search Bali Tea Candy

I also googled 'candy recipe, iced tea flavored', and there were links to recipes for hard candies made with tea.

I drink a lot of hot tea with sugar and milk. Unless you are a diabetic and need to control your sugar, there are worse things you could be addicted to.

I love iced tea also, but I drink it black with no sugar or lemon. Can't imagine having it in candy form since I do not want my sweetened. What does he consider being too much?

I'm not sure what you mean by adversely affecting you. Are you consuming too much caffeine? If so, have you tried rooibos or honeybush?

Is your husband a physician or nutritionist? Does he have reason to claim you drink too much? Other than the possible caffeine amount, tea is actually quite good for you. Maybe he needs to drink more of it.

Good one Patrice!! Actually Jim know a little about the human body and health, but he's not a doctor. I get iced tea mix from Walmart and make two half gallon pitchers. I can finish them in a day and a half. He says this is why I get diarrhea so often. I think it's because I'm female and sixty.
