Hi Jeanequilts, Just wondering if you have ever tried spreading these cookies in a pan and baking them like bar cookies? I would love to make them, but due to my fibro, I'm pretty much a bake it all at once kinda person. LOL I'd hate to ruin all those ingredients if it wouldn't work.
Any thoughts on this all our cooking whizzes out there?

I have not tried baking these as a bar cookie. I'm just not sure how they would turn out. (It may be more baked around the outer edge than in the center.)
If you try it, you will have to let us know if it works.

Tried these last week and they are wonderful. Used craisins instead of dried cranberries. I am going to make some to put in the freezer just make the dough in rolls and pull out of the freezer & slice & bake.

Thanks for the review. Have been watching to see if anyone made these cookies. We're having family here for 10 days including Thgiving.Want to fill the freezer with make ahead dishes & desserts.Would like recipes you have froze ahead.Already have soup, need casseroles.

You can freeze hash brown potato casserole. I have never tried it but I would think you could freeze broccoli rice casserole. If I think of anything else I will post it later.
