Cilantro Scallops

The grocery store had frozen scallops on sale, so I got some. I'm going to make this recipe tonight with some spicy polenta and a nice salad.

The scallops were very good. However, mine got nice and brown, but not that rich, reddish brown shown in the pix. Oh well...they were tasty!

That looks delicious. I would omit the cilantro because I’m one of those that it tastes like soap.

Same here! I'd sub parsley, or maybe basil. We often do scallops, just usually do the butter/lemon route.

Yes, I agree there are good substitutions. One time I made Ina Garten's mediterranean vegetable salad which calls for almost an entire bunch of parsley and I mistakenly bought cilantro. Sadly I could't eat any of it but Mr. Stitchnripper enjoyed it!!
