DIY Brownie Mix
Planning to try this:
1 cup sugar 1/2 cup flour 1/3 cup cocoa 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking soda mix above in plastic bag & store away.. when ready to make add 2 eggs 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla bake 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes pan size not given but I imagine 8x8 greased pan. Costs about 30 cents. None of those ingredients with long unpronounceable names. |
Thanks for sharing this recipe. I love DIY mixes!
I do the same with my cookies ... do a bunch of jars ahead, for easy mixing when the time comes. Please let us know how this one turns out when you make it! |
Great idea to have these ready to mix and bake.

I just checked both of my recipes and they both have twice as much sugar as flour. So, this it seems, that this one is totally normal. |
