Used to make these for Christmas buffets every year. My girls loved to help make them and eat them. Haven't had any for several years, but my youngest did make a request not long ago. Think I will do some for Christmas Eve. Thanks for reminding me.:)

I have been suing that same recipe for sausage balls for 30 plus years and it is still one of my favorites. I prefer Jimmy Dean hot sausage also. They freeze well and can be popped in the microwave for a minute. One of my DS's fav.

Do you cook the sausage before mixing with the bisquick or
just use it raw?
Sounds like something my family would love..
Thanks for the info.

They sure sound yummy. Do you serve them with a dipping sauce, or plain?

I would also like to know how they are served.

Do you use any liquid?

what on earth is bisquick???? young at heart

Bisquick is a pre-mixed baking product sold by General Mills under their Betty Crocker brand, consisting of flour, shortening, salt, and baking powder. It is very similar to Jiffy Mix.

This has been a family favorite for several years. The only difference is I use 2# of sausage. They are really great!
