Last week I got two double yoke eggs in a single carton holding a dozen eggs. Had never had a double yoke egg before that!

My hubby buys eggs direct from a farmer he knows, ad almost all of them are double yolks.

I have some free range chickens and I often have double yokers, once in a while I get one with no shells. Thats when I throw in more oyster shells for them to raise their calcium. I never hatched any of my own because I don't have a rooster. Can't remember when I ate a store bought egg.

I will never knowingly eat eggs again. The chicken abortion comment did it for me. I've always pulled the white string and the other thick white stuff out of them and eaten and enjoyed a fried or scrambled egg but I'm done with them now.

We used to have an old hen that laid triple yolkers. Have a couple of doubleyolkers now.
