Dh complimented me twice so he really liked it a lot. I used crushed Ritz crackers (didn't add any butter or seasonings) instead of panko crumbs. They browned nicely and I liked the flavor. This is just personal preference but next time I'm going to melt the cheese in the sauce before pouring it onto the meat and add some frozen peas. This is a great way to turn leftovers into a nice meal.

I made it when I was pressed for time. I used frozen cooked chicken that came cut up in small pieces. I had Italian seasoned bread crumbs on hand, so used those. Instead of making sauce I used a jar of alfredo sauce. At the suggestion of a friend, I sprinkled some creole seasoning over the top. We liked it, and it was very convenient made this way. I do plan to make the original sauce next time. This tends to be a bit salty. I did not add any salt because I thought there was more than enough in the other ingredients. Thanks, Tiggersmom, for the tasty recipe idea!
