Many years ago I had a recipe for a breakfast cookie that used dried milk, orange juice, and oatmeal as the main ingredients.

Does this sound familiar to any of you great cooks or do you have any alternatives? I'm going camping with 5 teens.:)

This is called Big Breakfast cookie
Ingredients:



* 1 1/4 cups oatmeal
* 1/4 cup raisins
* 1/4 cup flour
* 1 1/2 cups non-fat powdered milk
* 1 cup applesauce
* 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/4 cup sugar or 1/4 cup Splenda sugar substitute

1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
2 Mix all ingredients together.
3 Spoon out 4 big cookies on a baking sheet coated in Pam.
4 Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Personally I like Oreos for breakfast! :)

Oreos, yes, so does my hubby, but it is my job to get some healthy food in him. My dil is working on my son so they can both be healthy!!LOL

I am going to try this recipe. Liked that you listed being able to use splenda. Good for a diabetic. Thanks for sharing.

That's been a popular recipe with WW members!

I make mine using fresh/frozen cranberries, instead of the raisins ... saves on teh PPVs! :) And oh so delicious and colourful with cranberries!
