I use the one out of my very old and barely staying together Betty Crocker cookbook.

I add an extra banana for added moisture.

I've tossed in a variety of things with a basic banana bread recipe. My kids wouldn't eat it unless it had chocolate chips in it. Since they are "grown up", I've used craisins, raisins, apples and other dried fruit.

You all are making me hungry to try all your recipes. Good thing I have ripe bananas on hand. Guess what I am trying to make today!! Thanks everyone for sharing today!

I did it; I did it. Tried JeanieG 's recipe except I added one c Brown sugar and one c of white sugar and 1/4 cup of diced strawberries and whole blueberries to it. Dh froze one loaf; other is half gone. Yes, we loved it!! Thanks for the posting and many recipes to try.
