I use the one out of my very old and barely staying together Betty Crocker cookbook.

I add an extra banana for added moisture.

I've tossed in a variety of things with a basic banana bread recipe. My kids wouldn't eat it unless it had chocolate chips in it. Since they are "grown up", I've used craisins, raisins, apples and other dried fruit.

I did it; I did it. Tried JeanieG 's recipe except I added one c Brown sugar and one c of white sugar and 1/4 cup of diced strawberries and whole blueberries to it. Dh froze one loaf; other is half gone. Yes, we loved it!! Thanks for the posting and many recipes to try.
