Need good banana bread recipe?

Hello guys I work for a lady that would really like for me to make some banana bread for her but I can't find the recipe that I usually use to make some. I have been looking online but hate to use a different recipe that I don't know if the bread will turn out moist and tasty. If any one has a really good recipe that they are use to using please share it with me.

If you can get ahold of "Joy of Cooking" the banana bread recipe in there is excellent and easy. I have made it several times and it gets rave reviews.

Here's a yummy one.
Cream Cheese Banana Bread with Maple Glaze
3C. Flour
2t. Apple Pie Spice
3/4 t. Baking Powder
1/2 t. Salt
1/4 t. Baking Soda
3/4 C. Softened Butter
1- 8oz. Pkg. Soft Cream Cheese
1 3/4 C. Packed Brown Sugar
2 Lg. Eggs
2 C. Mashed Banana's
1 t. Vanilla
Glaze:
3 T. Maple Syrup
1 T. Heavy Whipping Cream
1/2 t. Vanilla
3/4 C. Powdered Sugar
Preheat oven to 350 and spray 5 mini loaves
In med. bowl whisk flour, spices, baking powder, salt, and soda.
In large bowl beat cream cheese, and butter. Add brown sugar , beating till fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each. Stir in mashed banana, and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture, till just combined. DO NOT over mix! Divide batter between pans. You could bake this, in one or two regular bread pans, but need to bake a little longer.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes, till toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool in pans a few minutes before removing.
Whisk Maple syrup, cream, and vanilla, whisk in Powdered Sugar till smooth. Drizzle over cooled loaves......Enjoy!

Try this www.marthastewart.com and type banana bread in the search box. A bunch of banana bread recipes pop up. Look at the one that says Easy Bake, it has sour cream in it, I've made it before and it is so moist and easy to make. You don't taste the sour cream.

Here's the link to my favorite recipe. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/best-ever-banana-bread/
Of course, I don't follow it exactly...I use 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar and add a handful of coconut (toasted coconut is really good in it as well). You don't really notice the coconut but it makes it really moist. Sometimes add a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg as well. As an aside, did you know you can store frozen buttermilk so you always have it on hand? I use buttermilk for 2 recipes so when I buy it, I portion what I use and freeze it in a snack sized ziplock. Defrosts pretty quickly in water (as long as your bag doesn't have a hole in it...don't ask how I know that!)

I make this one almost every week for my husband. Good and easy and freezes well......if it lasts that long. Banana Bread- 2/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup shortening 2 eggs 3 T. milk 3 mashed ripe bananas 2 cups flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 t. soda 1/2 t. salt 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional (I use pecans). Cream sugar, shortening and eggs together. Mix in milk and bananas, then add dry ingredients. Pour into greased bread pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. If it starts to get too brown on top, place piece of foil over top.
