Do you mix the cake mix with the pie filling and pineapple?

No ... everything is "dump" ... though you do smooth each layer out a little
So for the cake mix, if you sprinkle it evenly over the top, that'd be enough.
Otherwise, just use a fork to somewhat even the layer up.

I don't actually have a recipe, but google Dump cake, this is now my favorite way of making a desert.

The one that was on here a few weeks ago for apple spice is soooo good. It uses spice cake mix, a can of apple pie filling, 2 T oil, 2 eggs and bake for 50 min. I added a little more water to make it thinner, chopped the apples a little, put 3 eggs as called for on the box but it has so much flavor and is so moist. I used small bundt pans so I could make 2 of them.

the carrot cake mix that is labled as a decadent cake mix is really good as well.

Pig Eating Good Cake: This recipe was shared with me after a guild sewing day.

Preheat oven at 350*F

1 package of Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 can undrained mandarin oranges
½ cup oil

Mix this together & Bake for 30-35 minutes in a 9 x 13 pan

Make frosting and store in fridge:

1 large cool whip
1 package vanilla INSTANT pudding (the 4 serving size)
1 large can drained crushed pineapple

Put the pudding in a bowl and add a small amount of the cool whip & stir it together well until grains in the pudding mix in properly then add the rest.

I had the Cake Doctor cook book and somewhere in my moving around I lost it. Thanks for posting the website. The recipes from this book (and website) are absolutely fantastic. Can't go wrong with any of them. I almost never make a "scratch" cake anymore since I found that cookbook.
