Pie things to keep crust from browning too much?

I just put pumpkin Pies in oven and forgot to put foil around crust. I need some of those things, what ever they are called! Does anyone know where i can get them?

Here you go--https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=pie+guards

Altho I'd check Walmart or a local kitchen supplies store too. Pumpkin pie---Yummmmm!!

I just have a disposable pie crust pan that I cut out the center and just left about an inch around the rim and use it.

I bought mine in Amish country but I'm sure they aren't hard to find. I'd be lost without mine.

You can also just tuck a thin strip of foil around the edge.

How do you do your pie crust edge? I used to do a fork pressing around the edge and it browned before the pie was done. I do have a heat resistant shield that goes around the pie edge but after doing a thicker edge , I don’t find I need it. I do the fluted edge now with my finger tips.

Foil works but it's so hard to keep from falling off! That's what I used to use until I got that gadget we're talking about.

So many places carry them these days. I think I bought some at HomeGoods a few years back.
