1 quart peaches
1 cup selfrising flour 1 cup sugar 1 stick butter 3/4 cup milk Melt butter in casserole dish. Mix all ingredients except the peaches in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour in casserole dish on top of the melted butter. then pour the peaches on top and bake at 350 degrees until golden. (30 to 40 minutes) |

You can use this with any fruit. It is wonderful, but mine calls for 1 cup of milk. It is wonderful with fresh fruit, especially apricots. Enjoy!!!

This recipe is also very good w/fresh strawberries that have been sliced & set w/sugar on them for a few hours. YUMMY!

This was how my grandmother taught her daughters, who taught their daughters and we have taught our daughters. We used berries (blackberry is my favorite) rhubarb, peaches, apricot, cranberries and any combination.
