This is a great thread, I under-use my crock pot because I run out of ideas. I would love the butter chicken recipe too. Thanks for all the great suggestions!

Love that, my husband just went antelope hunting for a week and I had chips and salsa for dinner every night. Roxanne I love your avatar, is it a Jacqueline de Jonge pattern?

I made Chicken pot pie yesterday. There is enough for today, (Saturday). Now it isn't a pie like you would buy in the stores. This is in a pot. Some people may call it Slippery pot pie, or Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish) pot pie. Some of our kids will be coming over this weekend and we will be making pizza too.

Now that sounds like my kind of meal - but I love chicken any way you can prepare it - yummmmmmmmmmmmmy!

No Chay, it's the Hawaiian Star by Judy Neymeyer. It's a paper pieced pattern that took me 2 years to complete for my niece's wedding gift. She actually got it on her 2nd wedding anniversary!

We had 12" of that while stuff on Tues and Wednesday--made pot roast then. Today, skies are blue, temps are warmer and the snow is almost gone. But, in the crock pot is corn chowder. I have 3 C-pots and would be lost without them.

Brunswick stew for us here in south Georgia. I had some leftover pulled pork that needed to be used. Yum.

No snow here! Making veggie soup today with lotsa cheese tortellini in it (on the stove, not in the crockpot).
