i had heard that and always try to get the cane sugar

If we could buy sugar from Cuba it would be a LOT cheaper. Canada does, and I have found cheaper sugar there when I used to go camping in Canada.

The Cane Sugar farmers in FL are having a hard time staying afloat. Once they go out of business, no cane sugar will be grown in the USA, only in central america or overseas. Domino's and C & H are cane sugar, |

Thanks for the heads up!

This is good info to have. I do alot of baking and would be tempted to buy this type of sugar at a bargain price.
Thanks for sharing the tip. Nancy |

Sugar cane is grown in Louisiana from Alexandria south to New Orleans. Some crops ar hurt by huricanes and flooding but I see a lot of good crops.

I learned that lesson a LONG time ago. If it doesn't say pure cane sugar on the package, I don't buy it. Some "bargains" cost more in the long run!
