Oh um!
I will make the annual batch of pumpkin bread soon. It is one of my fondest holiday memories. Oh the smell of the loaves baking with all the spices. We keep a few cans in the pantry in case of shortages. LOL. We will eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between. |
We have baked pumpkin bread w/choco chips in the microwave for over 25 years. We have often during the year & consider it a really neat treat, snack or dessert! Always do it in a bundt pan so it looks really festive. Other than gathering & mixing ingredients- it only takes about 16-20 minutes to bake. I hope to be making stollen bread sometime during the holidays, but will wait to see how time goes.
Glad you enjoyed your treat sewverybusy1 |
Where's the recipe? Sounds yummy and right in time for the holidays.

Here, here. Sounds terrific. I LOVE pumpkin, so pumpkin bread would hit the spot any time of the year. A tried and true recipe is needed. Or at least the source of your favorite recipe. I know it is lots of work to write them out but please, please, please. I would rather use one of your recipes that I know has a thumbs up on flavor and texture.

I found a recipe online for pumpkin gingerbread. I tweaked the recipe a bit using 2 cups white sugar and one cup brown sugar. Is it soooo moist and soooo delicious. Recipe makes two large loaves or 4 small for Christmas giving.

I make pumpkin bread with one can of pumpkin and add dark chocolate chips. Granddaughters love it and the loaf doesn't last but a day.

Ooohh...nice! This year I added some very ripe bananas to my recipe and it came out wonderful. I'll bet the kids would like the added chocolate chips to the pumpkin/banana recipe. Thanks for the tip!
