It's too hot to think of turning on the oven .... yet I need some cookies for tomorrow.

So, I'm wondering if any of you lovelies have a recipe to share for Unbaked Cookies that won't melt away if not kept in the frig?

I'm thinking "cookies" and not squares.

Please? and Thanks!!!!!

i've seen tutorials on baking in your car...that's an oven in the heat. it just won't have a crispy outer layer...check the web.

Yes definitely for an adult ... though they need to be out-of-frig friendly and any time I've made truffles they somewhat melted with a little warmth, even in normal weather.

no bars - shoot

rice krispie bars are one of my very favorite treats

NO peanut butter, NO chocolate frosting -

JUST the "classic" bars

Mom used to make "wreaths" out of corn flakes - basically green coloring added to the marshmallow stuff and corn flakes instead of rice krispies - with the little cinnamon candies for the holly berries.

Hope you find something that works for you.

The only things I can think of might be sticky.

Looks like quite a few things turn up if one googles "no bake cookies"

I'm thinking like you ... unbakeds turn sticky. Chocolate and peanut butter melt. Also, the rice krispie type with the humidity here, lose their crisp and go rubbery.

Any I've found so far, are versions of the chocolate oatmeal drops ... and they go very melty with the heat.

MoonWorks ... those vanilla orange ones look good, though I don't have 5 of the ingredients!!! :)
