Does anyone have a recipe for used to be called "wash day pie"..I recollect it was more like a cobbler.

I searched it and found this...
http://www.floras-hideout.com/recipe...s_Wash_Day_Pie Does this sound like it? (Except when I read it I think the "fruit juice" probably should be just "fruit"! |

This is exactly how I make cobbler, using fruit instead of fruit juice of course. I cook at 350º until done, don't really know how long.

I have a recipe just like Lady Diana's except I use self rising flour and it's called TV Cobbler.

I like the "TV" rather than "Wash Day" title...
