Do any of you have any good recipes and points values for the new Weight Watchers Program?

I wish.

Go to HungryGirl.com and sign up for her e-newsletter. She sends out new recipes every day and they always include Points Plus. She has also posted on her website the new points plus for older receipes.

I particularly love her 'egg mug' recipes! You can go to her website and check them out. She also has mug recipes for deserts ... all made in a coffee mug in the microwave, serving for 1! It certainly keeps you from 'over indulging' when there's only one serving made!

Hope you find something yummie. I'll check my notes from the last couple of WW meetings to see if anything new has been appealing to me.

Thanks so much Peggy! It's great to prepare something that you already know what the point value is. I appreciate your help!

Jenni---Would you explain to me what the points mean? I have thought seriously of joining Weight Watchers Online but I'm dense as to the points they talk about. You may PM me if you like. Thanks. Marge

Points are calculated by the contents of carbs, protein, fat, and fiber. An egg for example has 2 points. The daily allowance may be 29 points a day and as a bonus a weekly allowance may be 45 points that may be used anytime you need them. A special calculator is used to find points using the labels on foods or the Weight watchers books has them listed. Calories are no longer used in the calculations and all fruits ore zero points and most vegetables are zero points.

Thanks so much for the great explanation! It really is a healthy way to eat. I was more familiar with the old system, but had not been to ammeeting for about 3 years. I love the new program and the additional flexibility. Especially the free fruits and veggies!
