    Default Roasted Whole Okra

I was asked how to prepare roasted okra, so I am posting here. I tried it with frozen bag of okra-not the same. After picking/washing okra from garden, I toss whole pods with olive oil, pepper, garlic powder on parchment paper. Roast at 400 degrees til brownish. about 10-15 minutes.

Our favorite way to eat okra! So good. I heat up the pan in the oven while it is warming up so it is hot.

I make it in the air fryer. Tastes crispy but not crunchy.

Fried okra is our favorite way to eat okra. It is delicious. Growing up we had it several times a week in the garden season and at least once a week during the winter from the freezer.
