Sorry, never heard of it but I'm interested, it sounds good. I went to Russia once and it wasn't offered anywhere, guess this is the American version?

It is also called spiced tea. I have the same recipe with tang in it. Do they still make tang?

Yes, they still make Tang. One of my sons really likes this and I just made him a batch. One cup each of Tang and lemon-flavored ice tea. The original recipe calls for one cup of sugar, too but I think the tea must have sugar. Then cinnamon and cloves...to taste. Put 2 T in mug and add hot water....enjoy!!

My recipe is year's old. 1 cup instant tea, 1 cup Tang or Wyler's Lemonade mix, 2 cups sugar, and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon and 1 tsp. ground cloves. Mix well and store away from moisture. Put a couple of spoonfuls in mug and add hot water. Stir and add more mix, if needed.

Mmmm, Russian Tea. Haven't had that for years. My recipe is similar to the one angelmama22 uses. I stopped making it because I can't buy Tang in Canada.

I didn't know we can't buy Tang here anymore? I don't buy it as a usual thing, but I remember it from years ago when my kids were younger.

Gosh, what memories that brought back! I used to always have a container of mix at my house and in my desk at work. If memory serves me correctly I mixed Tang (or the generic equivalent), Iced tea with lemon, a bit of cinnamon and a tiny bit of cloves. I can't remember if I added any other spices. But, I am going to mix some up now and experiment. Thanks for stirring up the far corners of my brain!
