    Default Salmon OMG so good

Dh steamed salmon in parchment paper. It was our ann'y #39. Used raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing for dipping sauce. Ken's brand. He bought enough salmon steaks we will have it again Monday. Can't wait.

I love salmon...in fact, that’s what I had for dinner last night with half a baked acorn squash. Thanks for the new idea.

We eat salmon at least twice a week. I fry it in a skillet with butter, bake it, steam it, use it in salads, fish tacos, salmon scampi, anyway is good for us. My kids always asked for salmon patties with mac and cheese.

I make a salmon loaf with canned salmon which we like.
I wrap fresh salmon in heavy foil with lemon pepper & butter & grill it.
2006 we pulled our camper to Alaska & I envisioned salmon sold most everywhere but it all goes to markets elsewhere & we only found it in grocery stores.

Yum...that sounds good! We have a salmon industry here, so we get freshly smoked salmon in the grocery store for pretty cheap. I just had some this morning with my poached eggs. It's comparable with bacon as a breakfast side and much better for you, IMHO.

We have a couple of creeks on our property where the steelhead (very similar to salmon and trout,) come to spawn. We can't fish for them, because they are trying to improve their numbers in the wild. Some day the Fish and Wildlife will remove the moratorium and I will definitely be out there with my pole. In the mean time, it's fun to go out there in the spring and see the little steelhead fry swimming about.

Salmon and Steelhead are regulars on our menu. Had smoked Salmon yesterday. We can buy it in the grocery stores, but usually find fish shops or make the trip up to the North Shore to buy wild caught. So many great recipes to chose from. Grilled is one of our favorites.

I love salmon but it's one of the few foods my husband doesn't like. My son grilled some a couple of Thanksgivings ago outside and it was wonderful. They don't eat meat so we had turkey and salmon lol.
Dr. Weil talks about it a lot in his newsletters. Wonderful for you.

I make bar-b-qued salmon under the broiler a couple of times a month along with salmon patties.
