I thought of that too, I wouldn't do all that if they were just to eat now. But then thought maybe they would just make cute gifts for Christmas w/a ribbon tied around or maybe 'wrapped' in calico fabric w/a ribbon & label on them - for the neighbors, secret pal, etc, etc???
Just a thought, but bet there are a lot of much more clever ways to use them also.

Bread in a Jar - I have made pumpkin bread in a jar for several years. I use wide mouth pint jars, recipe makes 8 jars of bread. Will keep up to 1 year which I can vouch for! Makes nice gifts to give. You can get about 9 - 10 slices from each jar. My recipe also has other variations you can use instead of pumpkin.
