Tomarrow I will get the recipe from my mom and post it. She just made a jello salad with cucumbers that surprised me at being pretty good! Mom loves to experiment and I don't always like her experiments! LOL But this one was pretty good.

She set lime jello and added cottage cheese and finely diced cucumber and nuts. I think she added some cream cheese but I need to check on that. It turned out better than I thought! It has a strong flavor of cucumber but it is nutty which I like in jello. I didn't think cucumber and jello went together at all but I was pleasantly surprised!

We alway ask would you do it again and yes I would do this one again.

Would love to have your recipe

My family takes sliced cucumbers (peeled), onions, and beets, and puts them all in one container with vinegar. Yummy! Also, I have a recipe for microwave bread and butter pickles, as well as for the sour pickles if you want it. The whole process takes about 20 minutes to prepare and then you stick them in the fridge overnight. They are the BEST!!

I'm going to try this. I have had the fried dill pickles (they are delicious) so guess this would be similar.

I thought everyone did the Miracle Whip dressing! LOL It is the first thing I learned to make when I was a kid.

    1c miracle whip
    tsp vinegar
    1/2c sugar

    mix thoroughly

Add more sugar or vinegar as needed to taste

This is similar to a cole slaw dressing so you can add a little condensed milk or I just add a bit of water to get a smother consistancy but I learned it with out either one added. It is just a matter of taste.

Just slice several cukes and add the dressing. Double it if you have a bunch of cukes. You can add onions or any other veggies if you want but I don't usually.
