I work in a big city hospital and we have a constant battle with bed bugs. I see bites on my patients all the time in the office and I know when they come in to deliver that they will bring bugs in....

It's a great frame and you got it for a great price. Before I got a voyager I used a vintage singer with the hand control. It worked really well.

I love the old Singers. They sew forever if you keep them oiled. The 201 sews through muiltiple layers of thick fabric and is a real workhorse. I think I found mine for $30, maybe less.

I bought rolls once from Hancock Fabrics and they were cut very poorly. Some were wider than others by an inch. All were crooked. I'll never buy jelly rolls again.

I have a 301 but I never use it because I love my FW so much. Lately though I have been sewing bags and I've been using my 401 and 201. Some day I'll find the perfect use for the 301. I say buy it!

I think it looks cool. I love the look of the old Singers. I have a Voyager 17 which I love but I wish it looked more like an antique.
