I love your monkey quilt. My Great Grandson will be born in a month or so. and the theme is Monkeys. Where did you find the embroidery monkey designs??? They are soooo cute. Good job!!!

When do you mark for hand quilting?

When you are going to hand quilt a quilt, do you mark it before you sandwich and pin it together or do you mark it as you go.? When is the best time to mark it?

How do you wash the pre-cuts.....jelly rolls, charms etc.?

I always wash my new fabrics before they go in my sewing room. I have found some "charm packs" that I would like but I'm wondering how people wash the pre-cuts. Would putting them in a mesh bag...

I have a Grace Hoop 2. I bought it with a 24" frame and it was to big for me to reach under it. I bought the 15" frame and it works great.....no more sore arms.

In Scappoose, Oregon, they have the Saurkraut Festival in September. Have you ever tried saurkraut ice cream?? belive it or not, its really good. doesnt taste like saurkraut at all.
