Iron suggestions...

My precious Grandmother wants to get me a good iron for my birthday.. :) I would like it to get HOT!! I don't really put water in it, I prefer to use a spray bottle. What are your suggestions?

I am a newbie, but my brain tells me I would poke the pin out of the binding up to the ball, and cut off the pin.. You will just leave the ball in it. This way it can't hurt anyone, and it will...
