Default New machine? Baby Lock Crescendo?

I am looking to upgrade to some new gadgetry... I just started quilting last year, and LOVE it. I purchased a used Brother SE-400, and I have learned so much with it.. For some reason the sewing machine bug has struck!! Help with decisions would be greatly appreciated.. )))

If you have a Brother already, you may want to check the Brother Dreamweaver, same machine, I believe, but less money. Either way, you will love this machine.

I love my dreamweaver, you can't go wrong with any of the v-series machines that brother/babylock have to offer

Thank you all!! I would love to have another Brother, but got upset with the dealer in my area.. Very pushy, and thought I should just write the check with no questions.... or trying to get the best price... She was very disrespectful when I purchased brother embroidery software online for $100.00 cheaper..... I refuse to do business there... So I thought Baby Lock would be the next best thing.. I have a dealer about an hour away.. I think I will go and try one out.. Thanks again everyone..

I recently upgraded from the Symphony to the Crescendo. I initially upgraded to get more throat space. However, the stadium lighting, never miss needle threader and deluxe walking foot are great as well. I recently quilted a wall hanging using the Serpentine stitch and metallic thread and the Crescendo handled both flawlessly. I am now looking forward to quilting more projects, something that used to intimidate me. Good luck with your decision.

Be sure to make a list of must needs and then go out and test drive as many as you can. DSM are like cars, you have to test drive them to see if it fits for what you are looking for. Good Luck and have fun shopping!
