You need a new bobbin holder yesterday. The pad that is missing is where cutter comes across. Without the plate cover and bobbin and needle in, press the cutter. You will see it come from the left...

I don't wash before presentation. But I do give washing instructions with it. I also volunteer to do the first washing and can then fix any spots that may need it.

I have my latest quilt hanging until I have another to replace it. I then with pins use it as my design wall. I have the bought ones but I like using pins. Just put them in straight its works...

Yes, I have one.

I designed my own quilt with it. It makes a beautiful quilt and very easy to use your regular cutting blade with it.

My favorite tool is the Jinny Beyer Perfect Piecer. I use it for marking angles. My seems are accurate every time.

Nancy's Notions had a Aunt Martha's template set. It's no longer available. It has basic shapes for lone star Dresden plate and shooting star etc.

Question Why wash finished quilt right away?

I have only been quilting for four years and have been reading about others washing finished quilts when completed. What is the benefit of this?
