These are ones I made recently. Flannel on both sides, flannel inside, bias tape trimmed. I practice quilting (FM and regular) on them but the quilting would not be necessary.

I cannot begin to tell you how many spools of C & C I have used over the years. Never had a problem, even the ones that are 40+ (15 cents marked on the wooden spool) years old.
